The Lead Business Systems Consultant collaborates with stakeholders across various business divisions to synchronize technological solutions with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with business stakeholders utilizing ServiceNow, aiming to comprehend their requirements, advocate for their interests, uphold platform standards and governance, and facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams.
- Acquire a profound understanding of intricate business workflows and functional characteristics of assigned applications, including potential design and integration of technical solutions, as well as upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts.
- Collaborate with primary stakeholders to gather business and user requirements while enhancing the relationship between teams.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements.
- Work alongside Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are comprehended, developed, tested, and delivered as specified.
- Lead scope, discovery, and design sessions, while keeping business partners informed about story status and follow-ups.
- Align IT resources and processes to fulfill the needs of the client organization, as well as design enterprise solutions.
- Create roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a Business Analyst role with responsibilities such as creating scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements, and producing process flows using Visio or similar tools.
- Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with the ability to ask pertinent questions to uncover details.
- Proven track record of tracking and driving deliverables to completion.
- Problem-solving mindset; ability to navigate ambiguous situations independently with minimal oversight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Demonstrated technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
