Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant Health in the Hickory, NC area. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and psychological needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Perform Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations and provide recommendations to support student learning.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies to promote student success.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and other educational staff to enhance student learning and behavior.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies to support student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student assessments, progress, and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid North Carolina State certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience with educational/psychological testing and ASD evaluations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other educational staff.
  • Effective in a collaborative educational environment, with a focus on student-centered practices.
