Your primary focus will be on preparing and managing detailed electrical power systems design, including One-Line Diagrams, Motor Control Diagrams, Panel Schedules, Conduit Routing, Load Calculations, and Voltage Drop Calculations. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the Electric Utility Company for new services as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Prepare and manage detailed electrical power systems design
  • Coordinate with the Electric Utility Company for new services as needed
  • Develop and implement electrical safety protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Texas
  • 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering role in the water/wastewater industry
  • Experience in designing and delivering municipal water and wastewater treatment projects via different delivery methods
  • Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety protocols
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of SKM or ETAP for modeling electrical systems
  • Field investigation, construction site inspection, and startup experience
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and IEEE color book series
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and AutoCAD/Microstation
