Key Responsibilities- Quality Management and Improvement:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management program that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for patient care, quality, and safety.
- Oversee the continuous assessment and improvement of clinical processes and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Compliance and Accreditation:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards, through regular audits and assessments.
- Prepare for and manage external audits and accreditation surveys, ensuring a smooth and successful process.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes, providing guidance and support to teams as needed.
- Lead efforts in developing corrective action plans if required, ensuring timely and effective resolution of compliance issues.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality initiatives across business units, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to quality and safety.
- Engage with external stakeholders to gather feedback and improve service delivery, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to patient care and organizational operations, ensuring a proactive and effective approach to risk management.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management initiatives, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in home health, behavioral health, hospice, or a related healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Certifications:
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar certification preferred.
