Position Overview
As a Nurse Supervisor at WeCare at Waynesburg, you will oversee the operations of a designated unit during your assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily functions of the nursing unit, ensuring adherence to the established care philosophy and objectives.
- Delegate care tasks to nursing staff based on resident needs and unit requirements.

- Engage in effective communication with healthcare professionals to guarantee the delivery of quality care, including the accurate transcription of physician orders.


- Continuously monitor and assess the quality and efficiency of nursing services.
- Conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff and implement disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Assess and modify care plans as needed, ensuring accurate clinical documentation.

- Provide emergency care and educate residents, staff, and families on nursing techniques.


- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as legal guidelines related to long-term care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to model best practices for nursing assistants and other staff.
- Competence in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
