Job OverviewThis is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L) with a schedule of 36 hours per week, generally Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The role involves working from home and reporting to work in the clinic on a rotating basis.
Job DescriptionThe Triage Medical Assistant will work under the direction of a provider and be responsible for performing clinical and clerical duties necessary to meet the goal of providing primary healthcare. This includes abiding by policies and procedures of the OneWorld Community Health Centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform clinical and clerical duties as part of the medical team
- Work primarily from home but report to work in the clinic on a rotating basis
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant diploma required; current AAMA certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 30 days of employment
- Certified Medication Aide required within first three months of employment
- Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products required; experience with an Electronic Health Record preferred
- Proficiency in English required for all locations; proficiency in Spanish required or preferred depending on clinic location and need
- Demonstrated ability to relate with warmth and empathy to OneWorld patients and staff
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
