Culinary Specialist

TerraBella Senior Living operates a network of over 20 communities focused on providing exceptional amenities, care, and lifestyle options across the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia. With more than 1,500 units, our communities offer a diverse range of senior living and care services, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short-term Respite Care.

We are currently seeking a Culinary Specialist for our Asheboro Community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes, including tasks at the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line;
• Ensure accurate preparation, portioning, and serving of meals according to the menu cycle and standardized recipes;
• Conduct taste tests to assess food quality and appeal.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a senior living environment is preferred;
• Knowledge of production techniques, portion control, and food safety practices is essential;
• Excellent organizational skills are necessary;
• Strong communication abilities;
• Attention to detail and presentation of food items is crucial;
• Availability to work on weekends is required.
