Catholic Musician - Liturgical Lead

Location: Columbus, MS 39705

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Catholic Musician to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. As a Liturgical Lead, you will be responsible for providing musical accompaniment for Sunday Mass and other Catholic services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct music and provide musical support for worship services in accordance with Catholic liturgical practices.
  • Ensure facility requests for Catholic rehearsals, concerts, and special events are submitted correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and complete funds' requests for Catholic music programs.
  • Provide music for religious observances of Holy Days and special services as determined by the Catholic Priest and approved by the Wing Chaplain.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience providing music for a Catholic Mass with demonstrated ability to play the piano and provide musical support for worship services.
  • 3 years of experience as a Musician, preferably within a military Chapel setting.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting the liturgical requirements of the Catholic Mass, familiarity with Catholic liturgy, and understanding of the Catholic Mass.
  • Able to teach harmony and experienced in traditional music and sight reading.
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
