Job Title: Substitute Registered Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Registered Nurse to join our team at the Addison Central School District.

Job Summary:

The Substitute Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing services to students and employees, including administering first aid and emergency treatment, preparing and maintaining health records, and consulting with attendance teachers and staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in physical, visual, and auditory screening examinations of students and employees
  • Administer first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees
  • Prepare, maintain, and interpret health records to school authorities, teachers, and parents
  • Arrange transportation for sick or injured students or employees
  • Report on general safety and sanitary conditions
  • Consult with attendance teachers and staff members on health factors related to non-attendance and communicable disease
  • Prepare records and reports as required
Requirements:

Interested candidates must have a current R.N. license and experience working in a school district is preferred.
