About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Wyndmoor of Portage. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist with geriatric care needs, including activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
  • Communicate and interact in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner with residents and colleagues.
  • Prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of our residents.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
  • Must have no findings in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
  • Ability to foster good resident and family relationships.
  • Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.
