We are seeking an experienced Senior Rail Systems Expert to lead our Verification and Validation efforts in the development of cutting-edge rail systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy and light rail passenger systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated software testing, as well as experience with systems and software development life cycles. You will work closely with our Program managers, software developers, and safety assessment engineers to define and implement verification and validation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical work with your V&V peers to define overall strategy and actions
  • Day-to-day issue detection and resolution with peers and V&V Group Manager
  • Accountable for the V&V portion of Program Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
  • Estimate resources, efforts, create and maintain schedules
  • Participate in initiatives to test new tools, environments, and strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience or understanding of manual and automated software testing
  • Familiarity with systems and software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of Verification and Validation Domain
  • Experience in a software technical lead role
