Job Title: Clinical Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Microbiologist to join our team at East Liverpool City Hospital. As a Clinical Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to diagnose and treat infectious diseases.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform plate reading and other laboratory tests to identify microorganisms
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results
  • Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely test results
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in clinical microbiology
  • ASCP certification
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
