We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as an Emergency Response Specialist at Essentia Health.
Job DescriptionThis is a critical role that requires providing immediate medical support and care to patients in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will be able to respond promptly to emergent and non-emergent calls, assess patient needs, and deliver advanced medical care in both pre-hospital and hospital settings.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing delegated tasks under supervision as necessary, working closely with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients. A strong understanding of medical procedures, protocols, and equipment is essential for this position.
Requirements- A valid certification as a Paramedic or a Registered Nurse authorized to operate as a Paramedic in the appropriate state of practice.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required at time of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required at time of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire).
- Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
