We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Substation Expert to join our team at GAI Consultants. As a Senior Relay Settings Engineer (EIT 2), you will play a crucial role in developing protective relay settings for high voltage substations, ensuring the reliable operation of power systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and implementing control and protection schemes for high voltage substations. They will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $105,000-$120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, vision, dental, company-paid Long Term Disability, and Short-Term Disability, as well as tuition reimbursement and paid time off.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development of protective relay settings for high voltage substations
  • Implementation of control and protection schemes, including interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Coordination with clients and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects

Please note that this is a senior-level position, requiring at least 6 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interact effectively with clients, project managers, and departmental staff.
