Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality massage therapy services to patients and employees, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote holistic wellness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate massage therapy into patient care plans, enhancing overall well-being and quality of life.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying areas of tension and implementing targeted treatments to address specific needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and research in medical massage therapy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Nationally Certified Massage Program with at least 850 hours of hands-on training.
  • Licensed as a Massage Therapist in the State of New Mexico.
  • Specialized training in oncology massage preferred.
  • Effective communication and physical assessment skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • One year of full-time massage experience required, with clinical experience in medical massage preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing massage therapy services to patients and employees.
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (greater than 75 lbs.) and have good manual dexterity.
