Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to help make sound business decisions that support the plant's objectives and create shareholder value.
  • Month-End Activities: Complete and upload journal entries and forecasts in SAP, export data from multiple sources to review and analyze actual results against plan and forecast, perform CO close process in SAP, and account reconciliations through OneStream.
  • Inventory Analysis: Analyze and report on inventory variances and assist with periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Training and Support: Provide training, help to resolve issues, answer questions, and perform analysis that will support operations in their assigned manufacturing unit.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Facilitate manufacturing unit management in annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles.
  • Cost Analysis: Perform regular deep dive analyses into production-related cost variances to help management identify losses and target areas of improvement.
  • Financial Controls: Maintain and implement financial controls and governance, crafting and recommending potential solutions for additional or revisions of controls as needed.
  • Business Analysis: Build analytical models applying both financial and non-financial data to forecast and analyze operating results. Clearly articulate results back to management to drive better business decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support World Class Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities by participating in cross-functional business projects and gaining an extensive knowledge of operational cost drivers to better support project initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Skills: Intermediate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment, strong analytical skills in business performance metrics, extensive financial modeling experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to think independently, synthesize data, and make proactive concise recommendations based on findings. Thrives on ability to work autonomously. Creative and innovative team player with a positive approach and a focus on business issues. Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with plant leadership and regional office personnel. Willingness to tackle additional projects and multi-task with changing priorities as necessary. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail.
