Assembler Job Description

At McWane, we are committed to excellence in manufacturing high-quality products. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual handling of cylinders in the workstation
  • Use of grinders, hand-held chippers, and air guns to remove excess weld marks and debris
  • Placement and removal of fittings from cylinders, following appropriate protocol
  • Hanging and removing cylinders on production line conveyor
  • Rejecting defective parts and marking defects accordingly
  • Working at different workstations as production needs require
  • Operation of lifting devices as needed
  • Participating in safety, environmental, and process improvement efforts
  • Following all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures

Requirements:

  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
