Senior Network Professional

Silfex is a leading provider of precision silicon components used to make and operate semiconductor tools, which enable the trillion-dollar global electronics industry. We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network administration and be responsible for maintaining and implementing IT network systems throughout Silfex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) connections.
- Maintain high-level protection as it pertains to IT Security in the networking environment.
- Maintain IT wiring systems, pathways, and connectivity.
- Provide support to end users in selecting, procuring, using, and maintaining software programs and hardware items related to the network.
- Assist in maintaining and testing disaster recovery plans for network devices as prescribed.
- Perform all work-related tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to Silfex management.
- Carry out special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain supplies inventory by researching supply quantities, designing inventory systems, determining inventory levels, and anticipating needed supplies for the network.
- Protect employees and visitors by maintaining a safe and clean building.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a similar field, with at least 8 years of experience.
- CCNA or CCNP certification(s) preferred.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret common network diagrams and technical journals, network reports, and implement network segmentation.
- Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community regarding the Silfex IT network.
- Able to write items and articles for documentation conforming to prescribed style and format.
- Able to effectively assist in presenting information to management, public groups, or employees.
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions around network-related items.
- Able to interpret extensive technical instructions in network diagram form and deal with several variables as needed.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Visio, network performance monitoring software, and Cisco-related command-line interfaces. Check Point firewall experience is a plus.
- Able to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
- Able to pay close attention to details.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
