Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Channel Personnel Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of process instrumentation systems for chemical manufacturing projects.

As a Principal Process Instrumentation Engineer, you will be expected to:

  • Lead the development of process instrumentation designs and specifications;
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery;
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards;
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians;
  • Maintain and improve existing process instrumentation systems.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation or Automation Engineering;
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in EPC mega projects and engineering in the industry;
  • Solid experience in Ammonia and/or Methanol;
  • Knowledgeable in the establishment and application of engineering management systems, processes, and tools;
  • Familiarity with process computer systems (DCS/ESD/PLC) and software maintenance;
  • Excellent technical and practical skills, with the ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work.

You should also possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
