HSE Specialist

Job Summary:

REAL ALLOY is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team at our Coldwater, Michigan facilities. As an HSE Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving site/company safety and environmental performance to higher levels, focusing on improvements that will increase adherence and compliance to REAL ALLOY's HSE objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead activities that drive site/company safety and environmental performance to higher levels (based on benchmarking)
• Focus on improvements that will increase the level of adherence and compliance to REAL ALLOY's HSE objectives
• Partner with our HSE Leadership to advance all Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, or equivalent major
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role with demonstrated understanding of related principles and regulations
• Strong persuasion and motivation skills, as well as the ability to work across all disciplines and employee levels
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to accurately write reports, communicate verbally with employees, provide constructive feedback, and maintain positive employee relations
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk the plant floor on a regular basis
• Ability to work variable hours, be on call, and travel occasionally (
