Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced instructor to join our team as a part-time educator for students with disabilities. As a computer literacy specialist, you will be responsible for teaching Word Processing skills to disabled students. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our community college district.
About the Position:
This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of 50% teaching load. You will be responsible for teaching students with varying levels of ability and need. Your role will involve developing and implementing curriculum materials, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to ensure students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Word Processing skills to disabled students
- Develop and implement curriculum materials to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Provide individualized support to students with varying levels of ability and need
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with students with disabilities
