Job Title: Early Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will provide in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, as well as specialized programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualized plans for each child in your caseload, ensuring timely completion of program assessments and updates.
  2. Collaborate with families to design and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development.
  3. Maintain accurate records of child progress, communicating regularly with families and the treatment team.
  4. Provide parent training and support to promote effective adult-child interactions and enhance parenting skills.
  5. Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives by participating in training, feedback, and data analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., special education, early childhood education, occupational therapy) and two years of experience working with infants or young children and their parents.
  • Valid Child Center Permit Teaching Credential or Therapy/Nursing License preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits
  • $55,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience).
