Job Title: Cath Lab Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Cath Lab Technician, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare and implement plans of care, documenting patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate patient conditions to physicians before, during, and after procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, utilizing advanced medical equipment and technology.
  • Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath lab, peripheral, and IR experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, with knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • ARRT Certification and active unencumbered Kentucky Cath Lab Tech state license required.
  • One year of Cerner experience and COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
