Compensation: $19.50/hour
ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public spaces, employee areas, and guest accommodations. Upholds LJBTC, Inc.'s Signature Service standards to create lasting impressions of exceptional service, leading to satisfied and loyal patrons.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives and organizes basic work tasks from Housekeeping Supervisory staff and additional assignments from Front Desk personnel and Management.
- Ensures cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, meeting rooms, elevators, stairwells, walkways, fitness center, and other designated areas.
- Conducts thorough cleaning of restrooms, including scrubbing walls, floors, and fixtures, while replenishing supplies as needed.
- Performs sweeping, mopping, and polishing of floors.
- Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays, transporting waste to disposal areas.
- Assists guests by delivering requested items such as towels and amenities.
- Maintains the Housekeeping Office and linen storage in an orderly fashion, replenishing supplies as necessary.
- Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Maintaining clean facilities and fostering positive staff attitudes will significantly enhance guest perceptions of the organization. A satisfied guest is likely to return.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Less than a high school diploma; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in property maintenance or custodial services is preferred.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence. Must effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Proficiency in English is required; bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
REASONING SKILLS
Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and address problems with a few concrete variables.

SCHEDULING
This organization operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Shifts will generally be rotated to ensure fairness among staff. It may be necessary to adjust shifts based on business needs.
