Paraprofessional Assistant

Amergis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students who require academic and behavioral assistance, providing support services to help them succeed.

• Assist students with IEP objectives, including math, reading, speech, and independent skills
• Facilitate teacher-directed learning activities, including lesson plans and small groups
• Communicate with teachers and parents to ensure student success
• Accompany students during recess and lunch periods, and participate in community experiences
• Adhere to confidentiality requirements and maintain a professional demeanor

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
