Intelligence Research Specialist

Leidos is seeking highly skilled Intelligence Research Specialists to support a client's operational requirements in a challenging and dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
As an Intelligence Research Specialist, you will work well in team environments and be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. You will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization.
Responsibilities
The primary function of an Intelligence Research Specialist is to collaborate with a team of intelligence professionals in support of HUMINT operations against priority targets. Daily activities include:
• Reviewing operational traffic for intelligence leads
• Drafting comprehensive targeting packages in support of the client's objectives
• Engaging operational components within the customer organization to address targeting requirements and develop new leads for operational exploitation
• Conducting detailed searches on items of operational interest and relaying pertinent data to relevant customer components
Successful candidates will have prior experience in supporting HUMINT operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives. Proficiency in manipulating various classified and open source databases is required.
Requirements
A TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph examination is mandatory. 4 years of experience related to intelligence research and targeting work is required. A Bachelor's degree or prior experience in supporting HUMINT operations or a related field as substitute for degree is also required.
Additional qualifications include strong briefing and writing skills, the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision, and regional and/or functional expertise or working knowledge of geographic regions of interest to the United States, including the Middle East.
