Electrical Engineer III Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at ABBTECH Professional Resources and contribute to the development of innovative electrical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and products, including specification, component selection, and critical component design.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems and products.
  • Perform fundamental engineering duties, including development, integration, testing, measuring, and analysis/simulation for various electrical systems and products.
  • Refine conceptual designs into complete production designs, incorporating appropriate connectors, cables, and wiring to meet design criteria.
  • Research, design, develop, modify, evaluate, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
  • Create design specification documents and develop test procedures and test fixtures in support of design validation.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including CAD/PCB designers and technicians, on design development and release of products.
  • Promote best practices and adoption across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field with 10+ years' experience, or a Master's degree in related field and 8+ years' experience.
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Technical background and skills to perform in all phases of electrical circuit design, development, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with MCU design, Xilinx ISE tool set, ISE14.4, Xilinx simulation tools, Altium Designer Schematic Capture and High Speed PCB Layout design.
  • Hands-on design, prototyping, and debugging experience.
  • Knowledge of Ion Mobility Spectrometry and Mass Spectrometry (a plus).
