Huntington Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and assist physicians in achieving surgical goals under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator/PFC and the supervision of the surgical services leadership team.
- Work effectively with multiple team members in stressful situations, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Assist with scrubbing in orthopedic cases and other specialty areas, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Operating Room Technologists preferred.
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) issued by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Current Orthopaedic Technologist Certification (OTC) issued by National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists.
- Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
