Position OverviewThis role focuses on supporting the preparation of construction documentation for projects at Diamond Ridge Construction, working under the guidance of experienced personnel. Responsibilities include CAD and BIM modeling of plans, components, and connections, along with generating necessary reports for production and erection.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of all work following established office processes, formats, and standards.
- Engage in assigned tasks under the supervision of engineering staff, conducting relevant engineering analyses and calculations.
- Prepare required documents utilizing CAD or BIM software.
- Develop presentations for sales prospects using Revit, Tekla, or other 3D modeling platforms.
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and punctually, seeking guidance when necessary.
- Oversee other team members when designated as a Task Leader.
- Adhere to task deadlines and budgeted hours.
- Participate in training sessions and seminars, both internal and external.
- Contribute to the development of in-house processes, checklists, and standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Junior College Associates Degree or Technical College Degree with 4 years of relevant industry experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering, or Architecture with equivalent industry experience.

Technical Skills
- Familiarity with commercially available office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam).
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn open-source programming and Application Programming Interface using C#.
- Interest in developing applications for internal use.
