Job Position Description:


This role is essential in ensuring the safety of both staff and clients by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the facilities.

The Environmental Services Technician serves as the first line of defense against the spread of infections.

They are responsible for ensuring that all procedure areas are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly, thereby safeguarding patients, families, and healthcare personnel from the transmission of germs.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Executing all cleaning tasks for facilities utilizing designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and methodologies.

Tasks include sweeping, mopping, polishing, waste disposal, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and dusting.

Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Physical Requirements and Qualifications:
Continuous (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.

Must be capable of lifting and/or carrying weights ranging from 25lbs to 50lbs.

Ability to distinguish between various cleaning agents and their applications.

On-the-job training will be provided for individuals with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Contribute positively to the overall team dynamic, including adherence to uniform standards, reliability, and punctuality.

Treat all colleagues and clients with respect and courtesy.

A reliable means of transportation is essential.

Demonstrate a solid work ethic.
