Job Title: Dialysis RN

At FutureCare, we are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with chronic kidney diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and perform direct patient care, including vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, and documentation of patient treatments.
  • Assess patients' general physical and mental condition, review dialysis orders, and document observations in patient medical records.
  • Analyze patient assessments, laboratory data, and bring concerns to the attention of physicians.
  • Communicate emergencies, patient life-threatening complications, and related incidents to superiors, medical directors, and regional directors.
  • Assess patient and family learning readiness and provide information on renal disease, prescribed dialysis treatment, and medical regimen.
  • Provide dialysis therapy, including formulating dialysis plans, administering medications, and disconnecting dialysis according to established procedures.
  • Educate patients on pre and post-dialysis care.
  • Administer patient quality care in a considerate and respectful manner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patients' short- and long-term plans.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • New graduate with at least one year of experience after obtaining license will be considered.
  • 1 year of dialysis experience preferred.
  • Current CPR License required.
  • Complete training programs approved by a Medical Director and the governing body as required guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
