Mental Health Crisis Services Provider

Northeast Counseling Services is a leading provider of mental health crisis services in central and southern Luzerne County. We are seeking a skilled Crisis Worker to join our team, providing assessments and interventions for adults, children, and adolescents experiencing psychiatric emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person and telephone assessments and interventions for mental health clients
• Provide crisis intervention techniques and support to individuals in need
• Collaborate with the public and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Bachelors Degree in human services field or Registered Nurse
• Working knowledge of community mental health services and human services delivery
• Proficient in writing and verbal communication skills
