  • Obtain vital signs and perform phlebotomy when necessary.
  • Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations.
  • Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare patient charts for appointments, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Verify insurance and manage referrals for cardiac services.
  • Schedule appointments and assist patients with inquiries via a multi-line phone system.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred; fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of experience in medical assisting.
  • Must provide three professional references.
  • Agreement to undergo drug testing and background checks is required.
