Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop plans to address their physical and emotional needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a current RN license.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
