Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to established protocols and guidelines to produce the organization's products in accordance with production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, and quality standards.
  • Safely operates machinery and production equipment following prescribed instructions.
  • Evaluates the quality of output to identify, discard, or reprocess defective products.
  • Keeps precise daily production records to facilitate analysis of manufacturing performance.
  • Diagnoses and resolves technical issues within the production line/process to minimize reject rates.
  • In more senior roles, may take on team leadership responsibilities to ensure that work meets agreed targets by directly supervising team members.
  • Generally performs tasks similar to those supervised.
  • May provide orientation or guidance to team members but will refer most matters to the supervisor.

The targeted compensation range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business needs. Compensation decisions are based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training

Required:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent is required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Consistent and predictable on-site attendance is necessary.
  • Ability to work non-standard schedules as required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and communicate effectively. The employee frequently uses hands for handling and reaching. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand and walk, and must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
