We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Support Worker to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide high-quality care to our clients. Our Support Workers are the heart of our company, and we are looking for someone who shares our values of compassion, dependability, and care.

Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring. You will also assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates, ensuring client safety, and maintaining a safe environment. Additionally, you will encourage self-help activities, accompany clients to scheduled appointments, and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, internal and external.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and be able to work in a group home, home-like setting. You must also be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
