Position Overview
The organization is in search of a visionary leader to elevate its medical services to unprecedented heights. The Executive Chief Medical Officer (ECMO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing hospital operations, enhancing patient services, and improving clinical outcomes across the organization’s healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and timely inpatient care.
- Engage in strategic planning to optimize hospital services and improve patient care platforms.
- Oversee the activities of Chief Medical Officers and Associate Chief Medical Officers across various service lines.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and safety in patient care.
- Support operational teams in improving efficiency and standardizing care protocols.
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or MBBS degree from an accredited institution with board certification in the relevant specialty.
- At least 10 years of clinical experience along with 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic health system.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, including strategic planning and financial management.
- Proven ability to foster innovative solutions and make informed decisions.
- Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and team engagement.
