We currently have an opening for an Integration Lead at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.POSITION SUMMARY: The Integration Lead serves as a senior-level Manager with proven experience as a senior professional, a capable individual contributor, and/or a task leader. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of financial and business principles, contract management, policies, practices, processes, and procedures essential for overseeing ship design and construction programs.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of effective program or project management, showcasing their ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight from management.
Errors at this level can lead to significant delays, costs, and disruptions within the organization.The Integration Lead is also responsible for preparing and maintaining management control processes (financial/business planning and scheduling) and reporting for complex systems, programs, projects, and/or tasks. This includes identifying and mitigating risks to ensure the most cost-effective approach to completing work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential, though additional responsibilities may be assigned. This position necessitates regular interaction with all levels of FFG's operations.
The Integration Lead will interface directly with the Assistant Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, Project Engineer, Lead Engineers, Purchasing Manager, Planning Manager, Designers, Drafters, Change Manager, and Director of Production.
Frequent interactions with senior staff, customers, regulatory bodies, and major suppliers are also expected.
The role involves preparing various reports, charts, and graphs related to program, project, or contract status, as well as delivering presentations to management to keep them informed.
Regular ship checks and drawing reviews are critical for the successful execution of job responsibilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with all organizational levels, including participation in meetings and drafting written communications.
The Integration Lead will provide guidance to other program staff to ensure the most efficient methods of completing work. Additionally, they will assist in developing a Manufacturing/Construction Plan that aligns with the cost proposal and contract specifications.
