Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Omni William Penn Hotel. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Director and management staff in maintaining a well-organized office operation and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our food and beverage division.

Responsibilities:

  • Shift Management: Assist in running shifts in our different restaurants, ensuring that all operational aspects are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to management staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing mail and invoices.
  • Service Standards: Ensure that all service standards are met, including training, scheduling, and guest relations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining office supplies and ordering new stock as needed.
  • Employee Development: Coordinate and sign up new employees for ServSafe certification and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Technology and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with technological and educational advances and apply this knowledge to improve processes and services.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with strong computer skills and knowledge of various software programs.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Certifications: ServSafe Food Handler's Certificate and RAMP Alcohol Serving Certificate.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to sit for long periods of time, with significant mobility of arms and hands. They will also be required to bend, squat, and lift up to 25-30 pounds.
