Job Title: EVS Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced EVS Supervisor to oversee a team of housekeepers in a hospital environment. As an EVS Supervisor, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and coaching the team to ensure high-quality cleaning services are provided to patients, residents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean offices, patient rooms, dorms, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and other areas as needed.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space.
- Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
- Properly and safely use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and Sodexo standards.
- Empty trash and garbage, and restock supplies.
- Shampoo and clean carpets or buff and polish floors, which requires the use of mechanical equipment.
- Change sheets and replenish linens.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and make minor repairs.
- Move furniture and set up tables and chairs.
- Notify supervisor about the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
- Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

Requirements:

- Housekeeping experience.
- Janitorial experience.
- Leadership skills.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Arcadia, CA. The work environment is a hospital setting.
