Welcome to the Cardiovascular Sonographer role at AdventHealth Parker, where you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care to our community.

As a Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing accurate echocardiograms as ordered by physicians, conducting specialized testing with computer-assisted devices, and maintaining and reviewing equipment for proper function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing echocardiograms with precision and accuracy
  • Conducting specialized testing with computer-assisted devices
  • Maintaining and reviewing equipment for proper function
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement and ongoing education
  • Providing on-call coverage as needed
  • Promptly responding to unusual results or patient reactions

Requirements for this role include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential
