Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a Clean and Sanitary Environment: Perform thorough cleaning duties throughout the school building, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Ensure proper waste disposal and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Perform Minor Repairs and Maintenance: Identify and address minor maintenance issues, such as painting touch-ups, replacing light bulbs, and repairing damaged furniture. Report any major repairs or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Operate Equipment Safely and Efficiently: Utilize janitorial equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors, in a safe and responsible manner. Adhere to all safety protocols when operating machinery.
  • Prepare Rooms for Use: Set up classrooms and other spaces for various activities, such as meetings, presentations, and events. Ensure that rooms are clean, organized, and ready for use.
  • Respond to Emergencies Promptly: Assist in responding to emergencies, such as spills, accidents, or security breaches. Follow established procedures and report incidents to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Ability to Lift 60 Pounds, Climb Ladders, and Work at Heights
