Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This critical role will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and executing GAC's recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding strategies.

Job Description
  • Recruitment: Manage the full cycle recruiting process, partner with leaders to develop staffing plans, set priorities for hiring, and obtain budget and hiring approvals.
  • Define Recruitment Strategy: Develop effective sourcing through multi-modems, build a pipeline of talent, and maintain relationships with applicants and former employees.
  • Manage Agency Relationships: Hire processes for select roles, manage agency relationships, and review resumes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute GAC's recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding strategies.
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies, including sourcing, pipeline development, and relationship management.
  • Partner with leaders to develop staffing plans, set priorities for hiring, and obtain budget and hiring approvals.
  • Manage agency relationships, hiring processes, and reviews of resumes.
  • Provide new hires with a best-in-class onboarding experience, ensuring timely completion of employment forms, benefits enrollment, and access to resources and tools.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to communicate GAC's culture, values, policies, procedures, and expectations to new hires.
  • Check in with new hires at the end of Week One and 30/60/90 days for feedback.
  • Initiate off-boarding workflow to notify multiple departments when an employee separates, manage off-boarding workflow for Human Resources, prepare separation documentation, conduct exit interviews, and manage verifications of employment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five years of Human Resources experience with a minimum of two years' experience in talent acquisition.
  • HRCI-PHR or SHRM-CP certification or ability to attain within an agreed-upon timeframe.
  • Proficiency with Paylocity, Applicant Tracking System, Microsoft Office Suite - Advanced User, knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, and proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
