Job Summary:

The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a highly skilled child neurologist with subspecialty training in pediatric movement disorders to join our expanding Pediatric Neurology and Comprehensive Epilepsy Programs at UW Hospital and Clinics, American Family Children's Hospital, and affiliated locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical activities include attending duties in pediatric neurology clinics and on inpatient services at the University Hospital and the American Family Children's hospital at the University of Wisconsin, Unity Point Meriter Hospital, and affiliated regional hospitals and clinics.
  • Provide treatment and neuromodulation procedures for pediatric movement disorders patients.
  • Academic responsibilities include teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as teaching continuing education programs for physicians and the public.
  • Scholarly activities include development of an independent, extramurally funded research program.
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
Requirements:
  • Must have completed a child neurology residency program and fellowship training in pediatric movement disorders or equivalent experience.
  • Must have a WI medical license by the time of appointment.
  • Must be ABPN or AOBNP board eligible or certified in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology.
