Join Our Team as a Pediatric Staff Physical Therapist
Become part of a dynamic organization with a mission to improve the health and well-being of diverse communities.
This Staff Physical Therapist Assistant will work in the outpatient clinic in the Late Afternoon/Evening hours. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and decide how many hours you want to work each week. However, this position will require at least 2 shifts per week (3 hour minimum shift) between the hours of 3-8pm.
This role will involve carrying out established treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, increasing strength, and other physical therapy related goals with various populations.
Responsibilities:
Patients and Families:
- Provide patient assessment, care, and information.
- Address concerns and complaints.
Community and Business:
- Provide education.
- Promote department and hospital.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
- Current NC Board of Physical Therapy license or eligible.
Work Environment:
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, temperature changes, and occasional noxious odors. Stressful work periods occasionally encountered.
Physical Requirements:
Standing for most of the day lifting/assisting patients with transfers, bed mobility, and ambulation as well as their exercise programs.
