Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in mammography or two modalities, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures according to written or transcribed verbal orders of a physician, adhering to established standards and practices.
  • Demonstrate competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Participate in the department's call schedule to ensure coverage weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
  • May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles, or syringes from storage locations to patient care areas or treatment carts.
Requirements
  • Current California license as a certified Radiologic Technologist with Fluoroscopic permit.
  • CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • At least 5 years of experience or a combination of education to provide the special skills listed.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work effectively under stress, adjust priorities as circumstances require, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in procedural details and required documentation.
