About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Preschool Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join our team at Kids R Kids Sandy Plains Academy. As a Preschool Teacher or Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young students, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Child Care and Supervision: Monitor and supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Lesson Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and supportive learning environment.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and any notable incidents.
• Teamwork and Flexibility: Demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, adapt to changing circumstances, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

• Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or equivalent.
• Experience and Skills: 1 year of experience in teaching, childcare, or a related field, with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and move children, as well as stand for extended periods.
