Medical Professional for Emergency Department and Critical Care

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team in the Emergency Department and Critical Care at the San Diego Veterans Hospital.
Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, and maintaining accurate and thorough patient records.
Responsibilities
- Average salary: $95,000 per year based on location and experience
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions in the ER
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted RN license from ANY State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in direct patient care for ER/ICU RNs. Critical Care RNs shall have 2 years of relevant experience
- Certification in specialty (e.g., CCRN, TNCC) is highly preferred
