Job Summary:
Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Renal Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time night shift basis. As a Renal Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with varying stages of Renal Disease, including Chronic Kidney disease, Acute Renal Failure, and End Stage Renal Disease that are dialysis dependent.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Works closely with Nephrologists to care for our specialty population.
- Modified self-scheduling with 3 weekend requirements in 6 week schedule period.
Requirements:
- One year hospital nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position.
- Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
- Exemptions, or extensions, may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNO Council members.
- Masters in Nursing.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Required Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
