Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our team at Cloud Software Group, Inc. as a Lead Accountant. This role will be responsible for managing the US general ledger, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage the US general ledger, including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and payroll.
  • Accounting Processes: Support accounting month-end processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide monthly balance sheet variance analysis and reporting.
  • Account Reconciliation: Assist with ongoing account reconciliation and specific projects by reviewing and researching assigned accounts.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items, and resolve issues.
  • Financial Reporting: Work with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information to create monthly/quarterly accruals and ensure financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records and supporting documentation in an organized manner.
  • Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external audit for mid-year and year-end audit support.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal procedures and controls.
  • Special Projects: Provide accounting support to the Controller and Managers on special projects and other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in corporate/GL function or combination with public accounting experience.
  • Skills: Ability to prioritize workload to achieve on-time accurate results, work in a structured manner, and effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Software: Proficiency with MS Excel and experience with a large ERP system, Oracle Fusion a plus.
  • Communication: Effective communicator with ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with the ability to solve problems and implement best practices through teamwork and collaboration.
